What you'll learn in this class

Join me in my kitchen for a full day course learning how to make everyday bread. This one's for you if you have little or no experience in making bread! Starting at 9.30am with a nice cup of tea or coffee and a slice of special bread, we run through until about 4.30pm. You'll get to make (and take home!) five different types of bread - an aromatic cumin and caraway loaf, traditional wholemeal, a sweet walnut and sultana loaf, brioche buns, and a butter-rich white cottage loaf - as well as trying several more. Plus we'll make pittas for lunch! I'll also touch on other things you can easily do with the wonderful ingredient called flour, including making sourdough, grissini sticks, pasta, flatbreads and pizza bases. I guarantee you'll walk out of the door at the end of the session as a budding home breadmaker! Suitable for vegans. This class mostly runs on Saturdays, but sometimes other dates are available. Check the calendar when you book!
