What you'll learn in this class

Ever fancied making your own croissants and pains au chocolat from scratch? This special day-long class will show you how, step by step, ensuring that you will turn out perfect patisserie. Along the way, on the basis that you can never have too much chocolate, we’ll go the whole hog and also make wonderfully sticky tear and share chocolate almond buns as well as my ever-popular chocolate and cherry loaf. This class is a full day and is more involved than my other classes, so would suit someone who’s started off on their breadmaking journey already and so has a little experience. But don’t worry, if you’re a confident beginner, please come along – I’ll make sure you go home with the goodies! The class begins with a welcome tea or coffee from 9.30am. We start baking at 10.00am and, including a break for a complimentary light lunch with wine, we’ll finish around 4.30pm.
